Have you ever spent time with someone right before they died? What did they talk about? They do not typically talk of trivial things like the weather or what’s happening in the news. They tend to focus on faith, family and friends. These are the foundation of their life. Life becomes very clear when you are about to die. What means the most in your world becomes crystal clear, and the cares of everyday life are indeed intoxicating, but death has a way of waking us up from our daily, drunken stupor.
Paul stared death in the face and he said, "God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control" (2 Timothy 1.7). How could Paul utter such a bold statement? Allow Paul to introduce you to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
